I Supply, Service and Repair range cookers with boilers in as well as dry cookers. If you have decided to combine your central heating boiler within a range cooker you may have found out that, A, an oil engineer who likes to service boilers may not want to service a range cooker (because it's not a quick job) or, B, that some specialists are just plain expensive and appear to be capitalising on problem 'A'!
I like to think that I hit the middle ground and can offer a good price for the intermediate service that some require as well as a not unreasonable price for the major service that may only be required every third year.
These units are not cheap to buy and therefore won't be cheap to look after, but regular servicing is better than a repair.

There are a few makes of range cooker / boiler appliances out on the market. Most will have heard of Rayburn, but if you want larger ovens then look to Sandyford or Marshall. Buying secondhand may seem tempting but remember the boiler part of the unit will be well used and potentially ready to fail. Go for a pressure jet burner as any wick or pot burner will be very expensive to run and tempermental in its set up. Avoid pressure jet converted Rayburns (usually OF7 or OF22 or 208K or 212K) as these may be snugburner powered with parts difficult to obtain (not to be confused with EOGB built snugburners for Agas). Lots of ranges made today use common cast iron parts, so, if you have one that needs bringing up to date, get in touch for a price.
